Burrito Shak - Greensboro: Flavorful Tacos and Unique Bowls Await

This was our first visit to this restaurant while the food was fine they charge you the wrong amount and then can’t give you your money back. Its miss leading and they know it. I’ve attached the receipt so you can see how this mess was charged. We each ordered the 3 tacos Jolly Roger deal which cost $10.49. We asked if you can order any of the meats they offer for no additional cost, they said yes except for the fried cod would be and additional $1.21 for each taco. If you wanted a 4th taco or just one all by its self that cost you $4.05. A 2-taco deal cost $7.99. I order 1 chicken taco 1 pulled pork &1 fried cod. = $10.49 + $1.29 =$ 11.78 (*we were chg’d $13.44) My Husband ordered 2 ground beef and 1 chicken = $10.49 (*we were chg’d $12.04) Our total should have been $11.78 + 10.49 = $22.27 Here’s how what we were charged. They combine or two orders and it was broken down as follows. 2 chicken tacos $8.10 2 ground beef tacos $7.99 1 pulled pork taco $4.05 1 Cod taco $1.29 & $4.05 $5.34 Total we paid* $25.48 Over charged By $3.21 plus tax I had a hard time understanding the receipt. When got home I really looked it and realized we were over charged $3.21. Since we were going back to the grocery store in the same shopping center later in the day I went back into the restaurant and spoke to a nice young man. I asked why were we charged additional cost, it looks like we were buying 2 taco meals (1 at $7.99 and 1 at $8.10) and then charge the price of buying 2 individual tacos ($4.05). He said the system does it, and it tells us what to charge. I told him you’re charging people more than what they should be charged and that’s wrong. He said yeah, we’ve had other people complain but corporate has been coming down on us and told us that’s how we needed to ring everything up. I said then you need to tell people they have to get the same meat on all the tacos or it will cost more …you also need to change your sign to reflect the correct information. I asked for my money back but he said he had no way of doing that, he wanted to give me free food to eat or take with us. I didn’t want free food. I asked could I speak to a manager, he said they don’t have a manger now they only have a District Manager and gave me his card. I believe that they know what there doing and hope the people don’t notice,

This restaurant is top-tier in our book! The customer service is always amazing, but the manager, Ty, and front-end team members, Nyah and Rachel, stand out as some of the best. Regardless of what we have ordered, the food is consistently flavorful, tasty, and exceptional to our taste buds - even as vegetarians! This is definitely a restaurant you'd want to visit. 10/10!!!

this place is nothing to rave about. The food is bland but not horrible. Definitely a bootleg chipotle. I’d be nice if they had fresher & thicker chips. Chips tasted like bulk restaurant style chips from Sam’s club.

S-Turn bowl was very tasty as well as the chips, salsa and cheese dip. But what stood out the most was the friendly service!!! You can tell when people genuinely care. Thanks Burrito Shack for great food and great attitudes!!

Like others said, I remember this place being much better. Last time we went they somehow managed to mess up every person’s online order. The “roasted peppers and onions” on the S-turn were uncooked. It was a weird burrito experience. Not sure what went wrong but I’m not chomping at the bit to go back.

Food was very good, fresh, and large portions. Staff was very friendly. So much better than a typical chain type. Will definitely come back soon.
